1. Cemeteries: The public Cemeteries page has been redesigned and is more intuitive. "All" links lead to aggregate pages.
2. Cemeteries: When adding a new cemetery, the "Save and Stay" button did not stay on the edit page (fixed).
3. Citations: When there are too many citation superscripts next to a name to fit on one line, they will now wrap correctly.
4. Citations: "Name" has been added to the list of event types at the bottom of the Add Citation window.
5. Dates & Anniversaries: The Cremation event type has been added to Dates & Anniversaries page.
6. Dates & Anniversaries: An option now exists to only show living people. Will only be available for users logged in with living rights.
7. Export: Families with a missing spouse were mistakenly being linked to other families with a missing spouse (fixed).
8. Export: When exporting Place records, the _PLAC tag has been changed to PLAC to fit with GEDCOM 5.5.1.
9. Families: A spouse can now be completely deleted from the Edit Family page (as opposed to just unlinked).
10. Family Chart: If no family exists, a message will be displayed that the person does not have a family chart (instead of 'page not found').
11. File Picker: Icons are bigger, with 'delete' on the right. The 'open folder' option is more intuitive.
12. Geocoding: More latitude/longitude coordinate formats can now be accepted and converted to decimal on the Add/Edit Place pages.
13. Import: The RESN tag will now be accepted to flag individuals and families as private.
14. Import: The Import page now shows the server's max upload size.
15. Import: The 'private' status of existing people and families can now be updated during the import.
16. Import: Path names in the import settings may now include apostrophes.
17. Installation: Accents will be stripped from text messages during installation to prevent errors.
18. Media: Options now exist for each custom media type to say whether they should appear on the What's New and Statistics pages, and on the menus.
19. Media: MP3 files will use the HTML "audio" tag instead of "object".
20. Media: Cropping is now supported for media links to people, families and other entity types. Crop coordinates may be imported or entered manually.
21. Media: A button now exists in the image viewer to slide in/out a list of people tagged in the picture (only if at least one person is tagged). Clicking on a name (or a toggle next to it) will cause the corresponding tag to show or be hidden.
22. Media: When making Default Photo assignments, an option has been added to not use any media linked directly to an event.
23. Media: Links to add media on the Edit Person/Family/Source/Repo/Place pages will now open in a new tab to allow an easy return to the original page. You won't be asked to save.
24. Media: When adding media from the Edit Family page, the couples' names will be auto filled in the title field.
25. Media: On the Media Upload page, the "Links added" message is more visible (moved to the right under the "Link to selected" button).
26. Media: When GD Image library is missing and some parts of the admin media pages are withheld, a message will be displayed to indicate what the problem is.
27. Media/Import: Data associated with the FILE/_DATE and FILE/_TEXT fields will be imported as the media date and note.
28. Media: "Buried at sea" has been added as a headstone status option.
29. Media: Users with rights to add media can now do that from an individual's public page (see the plus sign icon just below the tabs).
30. Media: An item's "private" status can now be seen on the Admin/Media page.
31. Media: On Admin/Media you can now choose to display only the "private" items.
32. Media: In the "linked to" column of the Browse Media page, only the first five links will be shown. If more exist, a "More Links" can be clicked to take you to the page for that item, where all links are visible.
33. Media: When using media assigned to trees, the process of converting media to a different collection did not move the item and thumbnail to the new folder (fixed).
34. Media: When searching for headstones with a particular status, the "no status" search option did not work (fixed).
35. Menus: The public menus have been re-organized.
36. Menus: Menu icons are now off by default (can be turned on/off from the General Settings).
37. Menus: Settings now exist to turn menu icons on or off.
38. Menus: A setting now exists to turn the menu bar completely off.
39. Menus: A previous setting that controlled the location of the menu bar has been deleted.
40. Menus: All non-media menu options may now be shown or hidden based on settings. The menu bar will disappear if all options are hidden.
41. Mod Manager: Bug fixes, additional error reporting, new instructions and tools for mod developers.
42. Mobile: Layout improvements will keep the contents of more pages within the view area (less horizontal scrolling).
43. Notes: When opening the Notes dialogue, the focus will be put on the "new note" field if no existing notes are present.
44. Pedigree: People on the charts will have Sosa numbers (based on settings).
45. Pedigree: Children on the charts will have d'Aboville numbers (based on settings).
46. Pedigree: The default box color has been changed to a neutral shade of gray.
47. People: A user with "Submitter" rights could not make suggestions for a baptism (BAPM) event (fixed).
48. People/Media: Settings have been added to show document and history thumbnails on one row (as already existed for photos).
49. People: Standard events can now be collapsed (based on settings).
50. People: If a person is on the "Most Wanted" list, a link to Most Wanted will be placed on that person's individual page.
51. People: Users with Add rights can now add parents or a spouse from an individual's public page (formerly the "Add Parents Spouse Innermenu" mod).
52. Places: On the Places page, the "Go" button cannot be clicked if the "Show all places containing" field is empty.
53. Places: When event lists are shown on a Place page, the place column will be removed (since we're already on that place).
54. Places: Place names that included double quotes were not saving as part of custom events (fixed).
55. Places: Cremated is now a separate event on Place pages.
56. Places: The Cemetery selection on the Add/Edit Place pages now uses a type-ahead selector instead of an HTML select box.
57. Places: The Place field on the Edit Place page has been made longer.
58. Reports: When showing a report from the public pages, a link will now point back to the list of reports.
59. Reports: When running a report, a branch may now be selected as well as a tree.
60. Reports: Translations can now be added for the report titles & descriptions by adding $text['reportname[id]'] and $text['reportdesc[id]'] messages in cust_text.php for each language.
61. Robots: Entries were to the "no index, no follow" group were added to the tngrobots.php file for the famsearch, verticalchart and descendvert pages.
62. Search: A setting now exists to sort and display names by first name or last name in the search results (to accommodate Icelandic and other patronymic naming cultures).
63. Search: You can now indicate you want to search for a cremation.
64. Search: On Place and Family Search Results pages, the sort options were giving crawlers fits and filling up log files (fixed).
65. Security: The 'no rights' message was moved from admintext.php to alltext.php so it can be visible in the public logs.
66. Security: More guards against injection attacks have been added.
67. Security: Passwords must now be at least 12 characters long.
68. Security: "Sorry" errors have been replaced with 403 Forbidden errors.
69. Settings: Remove color picker icons, tng_colorpicker.gif, js/colorpicker.js, substitute general picker used in General Settings for DNA values.
70. Share: The previous 3rd-party share links have been replaced.
71. Sources: On a source page, citations will be grouped for individuals and families.
72. Statistics: The Stats page layout now makes better use of the page and is responsive.
73. Style: All form fields and most text has been made larger.
74. Style: Many icons have been replaced. Menus for new installs now have the icons off by default.
75. Surnames: The Surnames pages should be more readable, partly due to increased spacing.
76. Templates: Two new templates have been added (22 and 23)
77. Templates: A template installer has been added to upload third-party templates (one at a time) and insert the template variables into the database.
78. Templates: Templates can now have a "mobile header" fragment (mobile_header.php).
79. Templates: The "Resource Links" fields in some templates can now have alternate translations.
80. Third Party Libraries: PHPmailer has been updated to version 6.9.3 (compatible with PHP 8.4).
81. Third Party Libraries: FPDF has been updated to 1.86.
82. Timeline: The Interval band widths have been adjusted.
83. Trees: On the Admin/Trees page, the default tree (if one has been designated) will be shown first and flagged.
84. Trees: When a person is moved to a different tree, events and notes for that person will now also be copied over.
85. Trees: The gedcom folder may now be split into subfolders according to tree, as the media folders can be.
86. Users: Usernames are no longer case sensitive.
87. Users: Mail to a new user will be sent in the user's preferred language, if they selected one.
88. Post Import Utilities: The Make Private utility will also remove the private flag from people who no longer fit the criteria.
89. Utilities: The Restore operation now uses the TRUNCATE command instead of DELETE when clearing the data prior to the restore (should be more efficient).
90. Utilities: Renumbering: If new ID resolves to an existing ID, that record will be skipped, resulting in a "hole" in the overall sequence. If that happens, the user will need to run the utility again.
91. Utilities: Branch relabeling should now be a little faster and more efficient.
92. Utilities: Track Lines: A different value will be stored in the "haskids" column to indicate that a person has a spouse but no children.
93. Utilities: The Post-Import Utilities will now also appear under Utilities (in addition to under Import)
